3 great things on Thursday......

I am starting a new routine posting...what are the 3 great things on each day of the week. Since I thought of it today, so I am going to start on Thursday...here goes:
1) New movies debut of the week.
2) Currently American Idol result show.
3) 1 day before weekend.

My favorite time of the day.....

Mine is in the morning. I dont know but every morning with the morning air and everything smelling so fresh and wonderful, it just fuel me up with energy to get the day started. I guess it is due to my daily routine of going out to the nearest food outlets getting my cup of tea, daily newspaper and enjoying my favorite breakfast with everyone else doing the same.

Effective Colon Cleansing

Going thru a pharmacy, I noticed a product called Psyllium Husk, used as an effective natural colon-cleansing agent. Haven't heard of this product before, I bought it as I was intrigued by the claim written on the label that 99.9% of our illness begins in the colon. Additionally it said an average person has 1 to 3 kg of unwanted matter stuck to their bowel wall building up pathogens and toxics. Instruction says to take it on an empty stomach with 1/2 a glass of warm water added honey if preferred. I tried it, taste kinda funky but a bit like oat. Unfortunate for me I took it during evening. Guess what at around 1am my stomach started reacting to it and I spend quite a few rounds in the loo purging the content of my bowel. Well I guess it worked but I will be sure to take in during midday instead in the future.

Meaning of Pekingese or Pekinese

Want to know something interesting? According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary Pekingese or Pekinese means:

1 a : the Chinese dialect of Beijing b : a native or resident of Beijing
2 : any of a Chinese breed of small short-legged dogs with a broad flat face and a profuse long soft coat

Something about myself...

I have a pet dog, he is a peke. Got him since last year and he is about 1 year plus. His name is H by the way. When I got him I didn't realize what an adorable child he is. He is extremely intelligent and because of that he really acts like a child. he is also very inquisitive. Sometimes too much and he gets into trouble. Like the other day, he nearly got bitten by a stray dog when he rushed to the stray wanting to play but was misinterpreted by the stay as a threat. He also loved to go out and ride in a car to go places. His favorite place in the car is on the dashboard so that he can see where we are going. Doesn't he looks adorable! Will blog more about him......Let me know if you have a peke too!

Starting something new....

It isn't easy to start something new....unlike many people who are already blogging, I am just starting to learn how to do it. Is it as easy as some people say? I don't know but I am going to try anyway. Reading from some of the comments in forum, people say that blogging took over their life and they feel that they have no other social life anymore. Will this happen to me as well? I doubt so for the moment since I still grasping at the concept of blogging.

There are some other stuff that I would like to know if there is anyone else reading this can kindly point it out to me like:

- How do I get people to start reading from my blog? I mean how do I let people know about my blog?
- How to allow people to post comments from my blog site?
- Is it ok to place an avatar of me? How do I get one?
- Can I know when there is a comment without login into my blog?

Guess from the questions above, I have revealed what a greenie I am as a blogger as well as internet savvy......well I will just have to wait and see if I get any reply to my queries....
